The mountainside Hotel, offers four star luxury Hobart Accommodation in hotel en suite rooms or self contained studio apartments. Our top floor Best rooms appreciate incredible views and each room has extra large plasma screens, double glazed windows, king size bed, air conditioning for heating cooling and elegant bathrooms with electronic bidets heated toilet seats. mountainside is a non smoking property and, for your convenience, a dining room is available for breakfast and dinner. South will receive you to Mt Wellington and on to Kettering to board the ferry for Bruno Island. Alternatively you can travel on to either Strahan in one direction or Launceston and Cradle Mountain in the other allowing you to remain to discover the beauty of Tasmania beyond the south and if it is time to exit our beautiful Island retain driving Devon port and the ferry for Melbourne. To the west lies our world heritage wilderness where cars are, understandably, not welcome. We recently had a 3 night stay in a King Room, our view was out towards the University Rose Garden we were on slick 5, it was so pleasing to wake up to that view each morning. The room was huge, very neat and well maintained. We were always surprised at how reasonably priced the store was, right down to the bottles of water in the mini bar, great value. We had room service one evening for dinner which arrived quickly and was a appropriate meal. We will be safe to return on our next Hobart visit.
