What you should know about Maldini Cafe Restaurant
I have visited Maldini’s at all times of day, and everlasting enjoy their meals and excellent service. Marvelous food, splendid staff, vast experience. Garlic butter, mozzarella, sea salt, oregano, cracked pepper, evoo. Clams, local fish, squid, prawns, scallops, garlic, house Hugo, parsley. Slow cooked lamb rag, peas, goats cheese, mint. Layers of savoiardi sponge with a Tia Maria and mascarpone zabaione and espresso syrup. Pear, date cinnamon chutney, quince paste, lavish bread (one cheese three cheeses). With grilled asparagus and crispy prosciutto. A tender salmon blush in color, this effortless drinking style of wine has aromas of summer berries. The palate is mouth filling and textural, with cranberry and strawberry fruit characters and a neat refreshing finish. A very supple palate with luxurious complexity and fantastic length. Mellow, yet with pleasing tannin, this is a delightful food wine. Rich, earthy notes on the palate which finishes with dry, steady and ripe tannin. The wine’s correct character is more easily appreciated in the intricate platters of spice: liquor ice, nutmeg and star anise with mint in the background. Our house red lively, approachable, and great with food. Plum fruit notes are detailed with white pepper spice on the nose. A immense food wine. This is a gorgeous, healthy made wine from a family estate since 1724. Ruby red, with notes of red berries and gloomy fruits. Fresh citrus and biscuit complexity on the nose. A mouth filling wine with a orderly fine acidity leaves the palate refreshed. Flinty, creamy fruit flavors with a immense parched finish. Crisp, parched and refreshing with floral and citrus notes. Textural, creamy with stone fruit flavors, if you love Chardonnay this is a very special bottle.
